A device for packaging a fluid product dispenser (200) said dispenser comprising at least one reservoir (210) containing fluid product and a manually actuated dispensing assembly (220) for dispensing said fluid product said packaging device comprising a housing (100) provided with a main body (110) and a cover (120) that is removable from said main body (110) from a closed position in which said dispenser (200) is packaged in said housing (100) to an open position in which said dispenser (200) can be removed from said housing (100) said housing (100) comprising at least one protruding projection (130) designed to engage with said dispenser (200) at least in the closed position of the cover (120) to block said dispensing assembly (220) and prevent the actuation of same.
