PURPOSE: A bamboo fire-extinguishing flowerpot and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to supplement the difficulty of raw-material production due to the splitting in drying and the problem of degeneration(decay) inside due to the moisture in culturing plants, which are the disadvantage of the conventional bamboo flowerpot. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing bamboo fire-extinguishing flowerpot comprises a first step of drying bamboo in the shade for 2-3 weeks after lumbering bamboo； a second step of blocking the porosity by treating the bamboo dried in the shadow with resin； a third step of drying the resin-treated bamboo in the shade for one day； a fourth step of fire-extinguishing the dried bamboo with a torch； and a fifth step of resin-processing the inside of the extinguished bamboo. The resin is a pine resin (rosin) or a mastic resin.
