The present invention relates to a scale capable of measuring the weight and the surface area of a human body simultaneously. Provided are an apparatus and a method for measuring the state of the surface area of a human body, which are capable of stereoscopically and quantitatively measuring the state of the surface area of a human body by being applied with a stereoscopic concept of that a cerebrum recognizes a stereoscopic object by a disparity between two stereo images recognized by both eyes as the basic concept of the visual physiology of the human body.
