PURPOSE: A Streptomyces acidiscabies JA(II)-10 with antibacterial activity against gray mold rot of strawberry is provided to ensure excellent antifungal activity and to effectively reduce gray mold rot. CONSTITUTION: A Streptomyces acidiscabies JA(II)-10(KACC 91492P) strain is isolated from rhizosphere soil of Sasa borealis (Hack.) Makino and has antibacterial activity against gray mold rot pathogen. A microorganism formulation for preventing gray mold rot contains the strain or culture thereof. The microorganism formulation is prepared by growing the strain in a medium at a concentration of 10^5 cell/ml. A method for preventing gray mold rot comprises a step of treating the microorganism formulation to a plant.본 발명은 딸기 잿빛곰팡이 병원균에 대해 항균활성을 보이는 스트랩토마이세스 에시디스케비에스 JA(II)-10 균주의 미생물학적 특성에 관한 것으로, 상기 본 발명에 따른 스트랩토마이세스 에시디스케비에스 JA(II)-10 균주를 이용한 식물 잿빛곰팡이병의 방제는 우리나라에서 자생하는 미생물을 이용하여 경제적인 대체효과가 크고, 환경친화적으로 고성능을 가진 방제가 가능하여 작물의 상품성 및 생산성을 증대시킬 수 있는 효과가 크다.
