According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for operating medical diagnostic equipment comprises the steps of: changing the operating state of the medical diagnostic equipment from a first state into a second state based on sequential user input； storing history of multiple operating states corresponding to each of user inputs； receiving restoration inputs； selecting a third state among multiple operating states which are included in the history based on the restoration inputs； and changing the operating state of the medical diagnostic equipment from the second state into the third state.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 의료 진단 장치 동작 방법은, 순차적인 사용자 입력들에 기초하여, 상기 의료 진단 장치의 동작 상태를 제 1 상태로부터 제 2 상태로 변경하는 단계, 상기 사용자 입력들 각각에 대응하는 복수의 동작 상태들에 관한 이력을 저장하는 단계, 회복 입력을 수신하는 단계, 상기 회복 입력에 기초하여, 상기 이력에 포함되는 복수의 동작 상태들 중에서 제 3 상태를 선택하는 단계, 및 상기 의료 진단 장치의 동작 상태를 상기 제 2 상태로부터 상기 제 3 상태로 변경하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
