PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter improving transportability of a seedling tray.SOLUTION: A seedling tray vertically transporting mechanism is composed by setting a driving sprocket and a chain stretching body to oppose each other, winding a transporting chain around the driving sprocket and the chain stretching body, setting plural fixing elements projecting inside on the transporting chain with spaces in the extending direction so as to fix each fixing element on each pot receiving part to intermittently transport vertically the seedling trays. While, the chain stretching body is operated to intermittently approach or apart to the seedling tray side, so that the fixing elements set on the transporting chain are inserted between the pot seedling container parts adjacent in the vertically transporting direction and from almost right under side, and are fixed on the preceding pot seedling container part from the rear side in the almost vertically transporting direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】苗トレイの搬送性を向上する移植機を提供する。【解決手段】苗トレイ縦送り機構を、駆動スプロケットとチェン張り体とを対向状態に配置して、これら駆動スプロケットとチェン張り体との回りに搬送チェンを巻回し、同搬送チェンには内側方に向けて突出する複数の係止片を搬送チェンの伸延方向に間隔を開けて設けて、各係止片を各ポット苗収容部に係止させて苗トレイを間欠的に縦送りするように構成すると共に、チェン張り体は、苗トレイ側に間欠的に接近・離隔動作させて、搬送チェンに設けた係止片を、縦送り方向に隣接するポット苗収容部間に略真下から挿入すると共に、直前方のポット苗収容部に背後から略縦送り方向に係止させるようにしている。【選択図】図5
