PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culm transportation structure of a combine to transport the culm backward with a feeding transporting device after transporting reaped culm to a middle part of the reap width by a joint transportation device and deliver and supply the culm to the starting end of a feed chain in a state laying sideways, and capable of releasing the clamp of the culm with a light action when generation of clogging with the culm at the joint part, etc., to quickly remove the clogged culm.
SOLUTION: The joint transportation apparatus is constituted by a transportation chain 65 and a clamping rail 66 placed opposite to the chain. A guide member 62 to guide and circulate the transportation chain 65 is attached to a swingable supporting member 68, the supporting member 68 is swingable between a setting attitude to position the guide member 62 at a prescribed chain guiding and circulating position and a retreating attitude to position the guide member 62 to relax the transportation chain 65, and the supporting member 68 is stably held to the setting attitude by contacting a stable cam part 72a of a cam 72 of a swingable operation lever 70 with a receiving part 71 of the supporting member 68.
