PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide contrast media having excellent contrasting effects and for administering to luminal organs such as digestive canal, bladder and uterus in MRI photography.
SOLUTION: A contrast composition comprising manganese chloride, oligosaccharide (reduced starch saccharified products) and xanthan gum is orally administered to perform measurement. When imaging diffusion-weighted image of hypogastrium or the like with an MRI system to diagnose an internal organ or the like adjacent to digestive canal, gas, excretion, digestive fluid and the like may obstruct image qualities, these unwanted parts can be removed to lower signals in the digestive canal so as to improve diagnostic imaging ability. By administering the contrast media and imaging diffusion-weighed image with MRI system, signals in the contrast medium-existing region are suppressed and diagnosable ability is improved.
