PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural material which can excellently maintain the shape without being flapped in the wind when being laid while holding heat insulation, light transmissivity, and flexibility.SOLUTION: An agricultural covering material is made of a nonwoven fabric consisting of a sheath core type composite continuous fiber. A basic weight of the nonwoven fabric is 10-25 g/m2, a core part of the fiber is made from a polyester polymer, and a sheath part thereof is made from a polyolefin polymer. A melting point of the polymer in the sheath part is lower than that of the polymer in the core part by 50°C or above, a single fiber fineness the fiber is 13-20 dtex, and the fibers are integrated with each other at the thermal compression bond part. The thermal compression bond part is formed by a heat embossing processing using heat embossing rolls.
