A load detector (100) includes: first and second beam-type load cells (21, 22) which are supported on first and second support bases (11b, 12b) in a cantilever manner to have free ends; a placement part (30) on which a rolling body (CT) is to be placed, which includes first and second connection parts (C1, C2) connected to the first and second beam-type load cells and a pair of walls (WL1, WL2), and which is disposed between the first beam-type load cell and the second beam-type load cell; and a restriction member (41, 42) which is detachably attached to at least one of the pair of walls of the placement part, and which is configured to restrict a posture of the rolling body on the placement part. The free end of the first beam type load cell and the free end of the second beam type load cell face opposite directions to each other in an extending direction of the first beam-type load cell, and the first and second connection parts of the placement part are connected to the first and second beam-type load cells on free end sides thereof.
