Syringe closure for closing a syringe having a main body and an elongated end portion that extends from the main body and which has a free end and a base on the main body, wherein at least one recess is provided on the elongated portion at a distance from its free end, wherein the syringe closure for closing the syringe is configured to be worn onto its elongated portion through its free end so that the syringe closure covers said at least one recess of the elongated portion, wherein the syringe closure comprises a locking device having at least one locking element. Syringe closure on the open side facing the syringe side has at least one recess which is adapted to receive at least one locking element. At least one recess has a radially inwardly deformable wall region.
