PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress getting mixed of a noise component in eye potential data due to shaking of the head of a user wearing an eyewear with an EOG (Electro-Oculography) electrode when the user walks.SOLUTION: An eyeball motion detection device according to one embodiment is used in a form of an eyewear-type device. The eyeball motion detection device comprises an EOG electrode to detect eyeball rotation of a user wearing the eyewear, an acceleration sensor to detect movement of the eyewear, and a gyroscope sensor to detect rotation of the eyewear. The eyeball motion detection device detects rotation of an eyeball and at the same time movement and rotation of the users head when the user wearing the eyewear walks while watching a fixed object in an actual world. The eyeball motion detection device cancels out (reduces or eliminates) noises getting mixed in an eye potential when the user with her/his head moving watches a fixed object in an actual world by synthesizing signal components (in opposite phase to that of the noise) corresponding to the movement of the head detected by the acceleration sensor and/or the gyroscope sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
