A bone filling and a bone repair composite material are made mainly by blending hydroxyapatite (Hap) into polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) to achieve its goal. This composite material is processed into two types one is through hot pressing to produce porous bone transplant, and the other is through electrospinning to transform material into membrane material. By the characteristic that polyethylene glycol (PEG) and polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) can be intermixed uniformly and then using polyethylene glycol (PEG) to modify the surface properties of hydroxyapatite (Hap), the originally immiscible nanoparticles and polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) polymer can achieve good mixing properties. The modified hydroxyapatite (Hap) still possesses the inherent characteristic of biological activity, and enhances the scarce biological activity of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs), in order to be used as biomaterials for bone surgery.一種骨填充物、骨修補物複合材料,主要係藉由摻混氫氧基磷灰石(hydroxyapatite,Hap)於聚羟基脂肪酸酯(polyhydroxyalkanoates,PHAs)中達到此一目的。此複合材料加工成兩種型式,其一是透過熱壓製成多孔洞骨移植體,其二是將材料透過電紡製成膜材。利用聚乙二醇(PEG ylation)與聚羟基脂肪酸酯(PHAs)為可均勻互混的特性,再利用聚乙二醇(PEG)將氫氧基磷灰石(Hap)表面進行特性改變,使原本互不相混之奈米粒子與聚羟基脂肪酸酯(PHAs)高分子達到良好混和之特性,改質後之氫氧基磷灰石(Hap)仍具有本來生物活性特性,提升聚羟基脂肪酸酯(PHAs)所缺乏的生物活性,俾供應用於骨外科生醫材料。
