PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slit lamp microscope which allows a single power supply unit to supply power to light sources of different types.SOLUTION: The slit lamp microscope comprises: an illumination system for irradiating a subject eye with slit light based on light output from a light source； an observation system including at least one element of an eyepiece and an imaging element and guiding return light of the slit light from the subject eye to the element； an operation unit； storage unit in which is prestored relation information indicative of relation between contents of operation performed by the operation unit and powers supplied from the power supply unit to light sources； and control unit for controlling the powers supplied to the light sources, based on the contents of operation performed by the operation unit and the relation information. In the storage unit are prestored two or more sets of relation information corresponding to two or more types of light sources and attribute information associated with the relation information. In response to an input of the attribute information, the control unit controls the power based on the relation information and operation contents associated with the attribute information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
