PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like powder for cosmetic compositions, which effectively enhances moldability and impact resistance of a solid powdery cosmetic composition.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a plate-like powder for cosmetic compositions, which is surface-treated with a silicone gel, in which the silicone gel is obtained by a hydrolyzing and condensing an organopolysiloxane having reactive opposite ends, shown in the following formula (1), and a cross-linking agent comprising at least one of a silane coupling agent of the following formula (2) having two or more hydrolyzable groups per one molecule and a reactive organopolysiloxane having the following formula (3).
