PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for facilitating boarding/alighting from a side part.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 12 includes: front seat frames where a front seat surface 74 for supporting the thighs of a user is formed； rear seat frames 18 where a rear seat surface 76 for supporting his/her hips is formed； back frames 20 where backrest surfaces 78 for supporting his/her back are formed； and armrests 22 positioned on the right and left sides of the thighs and hips. Each rear seat frame 18 is turnable so as to allow the rear end to be turned downward with respect to the front end with a horizontal direction as a turning axis. Each armrest 22 is turnable with the horizontal direction as a turning axis. It is preferable that the turning center of the turning axis of the armrest 22 is set at least at a position under the front seat surface 74, under the rear seat surface 76 or behind the backrest surfaces 78.【課題】側面からの乗降が容易にされた車椅子の提供。【解決手段】この車椅子１２は、使用者の大腿部を支持する前座面７４が形成される前座フレームと、臀部を支持する後座面７６が形成される後座フレーム１８と、背中を支持する背もたれ面７８が形成される背フレーム２０と、大腿部及び臀部の左右側面に位置するアームレスト２２とを備えている。この後座フレーム１８は、左右方向を回動軸にして、その後端がその前端に対して下方に下がる向きに回動可能にされている。このアームレスト２２は、左右方向を回動軸にして回動可能にされている。好ましくは、このアームレスト２２の回動軸の回動中心の位置は、前座面７４の下方か、後座面７６の下方か、背もたれ面７８の後方かの、少なくともいずれかにされている。【選択図】図１
