PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint motion auxiliary device having a novel structure made simple and lightweight to become easily detachable with respect to a user and capable of being utilized in order not only to aid operation but also to effectively perform the increase training of muscle power.SOLUTION: In the joint motion auxiliary device 10 for aiding the bending and stretching of a joint, the first mounting parts 14 mounted on one region holding the joint of the user and the second mounting parts 16 mounted on the other region are provided to both end parts of an auxiliary force transmission part 12 having flexibility while a drive source 40 for exerting tensile force across the first and second mounting parts 14 and 16 through the auxiliary force transmission part 12 is provided.
