PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling raising box preventing occurrence of diseases such as anthracnose of plant seedling. SOLUTION: This seedling raising box 1 is obtained by setting a drain hole 5 with a plug 6 or a drain small hole 5A on the bottom 3 of the box main body 2 of the seedling raising box 1, and setting in the box a pot 8 which has a water-introducing hole 9 on the bottom. Water is filled in the box once in one day, two days or three days, and the whole volume of the water is discharged in 10 min-30 min through opening the plug 6 of the drip hole 5, or discharged from the drain small hole 5A in 10 min-30 min after stopping water.
