The main structure of the water collecting basin comprises a basin body and a water resisting element, in which the basin body has a water collecting tank for collecting excess water after watering and, the water resisting element is filled or placed in the water collecting tank, or the water resisting element is integrally combined with the basin body, which is adjacent to the bonsai flower pot for absorbing excess water and preventing the stagnant water from directly contacting with the outside environment.
