<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter, preventing stress concentration in a boundary part between a catheter body and a tip, exhibiting high torque transfer performance in such the boundary part and rich in flexibility. <；P>；SOLUTION: The catheter 10 includes: a catheter body 11 including a coil body 24, an inner resin layer 26 covering the inner periphery of the coil body 24, and an outer resin layer 28 covering the large diameter element wire of the coil body 24 without externally exposing the outer surface of the wire； a resin made tip 12 having an inner hole communicating with the catheter body 11 and arranged on the distal end of the catheter body 11； an inner layer extension part where the inner resin layer 26 is integrally extended from the distal end of the catheter body 11 to the tip 12 side to form the inner periphery part of the proximal end part of the tip 12； and a braided body 30 arranged on the inner layer extension part within the tip 12 and on at least inner resin layer 26 of the distal end side part of the catheter body 11 respectively over the boundary between the proximal end part of the tip 12 and distal end part of the catheter body 11. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
