PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom endoscope wherein zooming speed is not delayed and no zoom deficiency occurs even if the curved part is inflected to a larger angle with a smaller curvature radius and such inflection is repeated, and which allows user to obtain accurate and natural zoomed image without making the zoom driving motor larger.
SOLUTION: The zoom endoscope is configured to include a voltage value look-up table 35a where applied voltage value to the zoom driving motor 20 which changes according to the rotation amount of the inflection mechanism 7 is stored, and an applied voltage controller 15 to control the motor driving circuit 24 so as to apply the applied voltage value retrieved from the voltage value look-up table 35a according to the rotation amount of the inflection mechanism 7 detected by the inflection rotation amount detecting means 25 to the zoom driving motor 20 from the motor driving circuit 24.
