PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a powdery hair dye composition containing a percarbonate salt, the stiffness of the hair after the hair dyeing treatment can be further improved, while suppressing deterioration of coating operability during long-term preservation.SOLUTION: In order to solve the above problem that, in a powder hair dye composition containing: (A) a percarbonate salt； and (B) a water-soluble polymer compound； the present invention provides the powder hair dye composition containing: as (B) the water-soluble polymer compound, (b1) a product mucilage or chitosan derived from a microorganism containing glucose as constituent sugar； and (b2) starch.
