PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a needle-like body capable of preventing degeneration of protein, and provide a needle-like body.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a needle-like body that comprises a needle-like projection part and a support substrate for supporting the projection part includes steps of: adjusting a needle-like body forming solution that includes a water-soluble polymer, disaccharide and protein supplying the needle-like body forming solution to a concave plate having concave parts forming the needle-like body by drying the needle-like body forming solution in the concave plate and separating the needle-like body from the concave plate. In the manufacturing method for the needle-like body described in clam 1, the water-soluble polymer is selected from chitosan, hydroxypropyl cellulose and hyaluronic acid.
