The screen ball mill comprises a grinding drum (1) which extends between two grinding drum walls (3, 3') in an axial direction (x). The grinding drum (I) comprises a grinding chamber (10) and a screen assembly (14, 15) which is provided adjacently to the periphery (II) of the grinding chamber (10), and the grinding drum (1) is coupled to a drive motor in order to produce a rotation of the grinding drum (1) about an axis (A) running in the axial direction (x). Furthermore, a supply unit is provided for supplying the coarse material to the grinding chamber (10).
