The invention relates to immunogenic compositions comprising a capsular polysaccharide (CP) from Streptococcus agalactiae, commonly referred to as group B streptococcus (GBS), conjugated to a carrier protein, and optionally including an aluminum-based adjuvant. The invention further relates to methods for inducing an immune response in subjects against GBS and/or for reducing or preventing invasive GBS disease in subjects using the compositions disclosed herein. The resulting antibodies can be used to treat or prevent GBS infection via passive immunotherapy.L'invention concerne des compositions immunogènes comprenant un polysaccharide capsulaire (CP) de Streptococcus agalactiae, communément appelé streptocoque du groupe B (GBS), conjugué à une protéine porteuse, et comprenant éventuellement un adjuvant à base d'aluminium. L'invention concerne également des méthodes pour induire une réponse immunitaire chez des sujets contre GBS et/ou pour réduire ou prévenir une maladie par GBS invasive chez des sujets au moyen des compositions décrites ici. Les anticorps obtenus peuvent être utilisés pour traiter ou prévenir une infection par le GBS au moyen d'une immunothérapie passive.
