PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body carrying device capable of easing the work of transferring a body such as a dead body between stretchers.SOLUTION: The body carrying device includes a dead body loading tray 1 loaded with the dead body serving as the body, and having holes 12 engaged with a lifting device, and a stretcher 2 having a tray receiving base 20 on which the dead body loading tray 1 is detachably placed. When carrying out transfer to the other stretcher 2, the lifting device is engaged with the holes 12 of the dead body loading tray 1, and the dead body loading tray 1 is lifted by the lifting device and detached from the tray receiving base 20.
