Provided is a method for manufacturing an ultrasonic probe. The method for manufacturing the ultrasonic probe comprises the following steps: preparing a sound absorbing layer which includes a first and a second surfaces having different heights due to a formation of grooves, and where a first and a second electrodes are exposed on each first and second surface； creating a third electrode close to the first electrode inside a groove, and forming a base piezoelectric part which includes a piezoelectric layer on the third electrode； and creating a piezoelectric part by removing the upper domain of the base piezoelectric part； and creating a fourth electrode on the sound absorbing layer and the piezoelectric part.초음파 프로브의 제조 방법을 제공한다. 본 초음파 프로브의 제조 방법은,홈이 형성되어 높이가 다른 제1 및 제2 표면을 갖고 제1 및 제2 표면 각각에 제1 및 제2 전극이 노출되는 흡음층을 준비하며, 제1 전극에 접하는 제3 전극을 홈 내에 형성하고, 제3 전극상에 압전층을 포함한 기저 압전부를 형성하며, 기저 압전부의 상부 영역을 제거하여 압전부를 형성하고, 흡음층 및 압전부상에 제4 전극을 형성한다.
