PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable ultrasonic imaging apparatus which can safely and surely hold a probe, a cord thereof or a component and the like to be used in the apparatus while maintaining the compact shape.SOLUTION: There is provided a portable ultrasonic imaging apparatus 100 which includes a body housing 10, and a display housing 20 arranged on an upper surface 10C of the body housing 10 and having a display device, and is provided with a probe connection part 13 to which a probe connector is connected on a back surface 10B of the body housing 10. A holding space 101 for storing a probe connected to the probe connector with a cord is provided at the position proximate to the probe connection part 13 on the back surface 10B of the body housing 10.
