According to the present invention, the controlling apparatus comprises: a communication unit receiving brainwave data of a user from a brainwave measuring device； an analysis unit analyzing a mental state of the user based on the brainwave data received from the communication unit； and a control unit generating a control signal with respect to an electric device based on mental state information of the user, analyzed by the analysis unit.
