PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter having a simple structure in which a tip portion of a catheter shaft can be curved and the torque transmission property and pushability of the catheter shaft are enhanced. SOLUTION: A catheter can be energized with a first reinforcing wire 140 and a second reinforcing wire 150 via a shape memory alloy wire embedded in a tube wall of a catheter shaft 110.
