PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for shape-memory alloy wire control.SOLUTION: The present invention defines a method for controlling an infusion pump by using a shape-memory alloy wire actuator and also defines a device corresponding to the method. The method includes determining, before actuation, an on-time on the basis of a target volume pumped by a shape-memory alloy wire plunger and the temperature of a shape-memory alloy wire. This adjusts the on-time of the actuator on the basis of the temperature of the shape-memory alloy wire. According to a first implementation, a method for controlling a device which uses the shape-memory alloy wire is disclosed.
