The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing streptococcus pneumonia capsule polysaccharide. According to the present invention, a medium component for manufacturing the capsule polysaccharide from streptococcus pneumonia is optimized to improve the capsule polysaccharide, and in conventional processes, a pH or temperature control step and an ultrafiltration step are omitted to simplify separation and purification processes of the capsule polysaccharide, and thus the capsule polysaccharide can be manufactured with high yield and high purity to be usefully used for the manufacture of a vaccine composition.본 발명은 스트렙토코커스 뉴모니아 협막 다당체의 생산방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면 스트렙토코커스 뉴모니아로부터 협막 다당체를 생산하기 위한 배지 성분을 최적화하여 협막 다당체의 생산성을 향상시키고, 기존 공정에서 pH나 온도 조절 단계, 한외여과 공정을 생략하여 협막 다당체의 분리 정제 공정을 간소화하여 시간을 단축시킴으로써, 협막 다당체를 고수율, 고순도로 생산할 수 있으며, 이를 백신 조성물 제조에 유용하게 이용할 수 있다.
