A fastener for securing two or more non-aligned bodies to each other includes a fastener receiver, a path-compliant fastener, and a guide channel. The fastener receiver is configured to fasten a first non-aligned body, and the path-compliant fastener is configured to fasten at least one second non-aligned body. The path-compliant fastener traverses through the guide channel and threadedly engages with the fastener receiver, wherein the guide channel can be an opening through the second non-aligned body or a separate adaptor that is inserted or incorporated into the second non-aligned body.
