A method for detecting at least one lesion in an X-ray image is disclosed. The disclosed method includes the steps of: determining a mandibular gum line of a tooth in the X-ray image determining an outer jaw line in the X-ray image calculating at least one intersection of the mandibular gum line of the tooth and the outer jaw line which are determined and setting an angiogram candidate region in the X-ray image based on the at least one intersection which is calculated. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the accuracy of lesion detection.X선 영상에서 적어도 하나의 병변을 검출하는 방법이 개시된다. 개시된 방법은, X선 영상에서 치아의 하악 잇몸 라인을 결정하는 단계, 상기 X선 영상에서 턱 외측 라인을 결정하는 단계, 상기 결정된 치아의 하악 잇몸 라인 및 턱 외측 라인의 적어도 하나의 교점을 산출하는 단계 및 상기산출된 적어도 하나의 교점을 기초로 상기 X선 영상에서 혈관석회화 후보 영역을 설정하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
