The present invention relates to a method for extracting a vascular structure from a two-dimensional (2D) X-ray angiogram, which extracts a 2D vascular tree structure from the 2D X-ray angiogram for a blood vessel of an examinee, performs rigid body matching between the 2D vascular tree structure and a 3D vascular structure divided from a 3D CT angiogram of the examinee, calculates similarity between 2D and 3D vascular segments, and uses the similarity to reconfigure the 2D vascular tree structure. Accordingly, loss of depth information of a blood vessel is removed, thereby increasing correctness when a vascular structure is extracted from a 2D X-ray angiogram.본 발명에 따른 2차원 X-선 조영영상의 혈관 구조 추출 방법은 피검자의 혈관에 대한 2차원 X-선 조영영상으로부터 2차원 혈관 트리 구조를 추출하고, 상기 2차원 혈관 트리 구조와, 상기 피검자에 대한 3차원 CT 조영영상에서 분할된 3차원 혈관 구조의 강체 정합을 수행한 후 2차원 혈관 세그먼트와 3차원 혈관 세그먼트에 대한 유사도를 산출하며, 이를 이용하여 상기 2차원 혈관 트리 구조를 재구성함으로써, 혈관의 깊이 정보 손실을 해결하여 2차원 X-선 조영영상의 혈관 구조 추출의 정확도가 향상될 수 있다.
