PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support system capable of positioning and retaining the head, the upper and lower halves of the body, and the limbs of a patient up to individual plain faces in adjustable manners.SOLUTION: A patient support system comprises independently adjustable end columns 5 and 6 hinged at the center for supporting a connectable or foldable patient support structure 1. At least one column includes a rotation assembly 26 of power actuation. The support member of a patient includes at least two parts 12 and 14. A synchronized drive system 18 provides a connected direction, that is, is folded upward and downward of two portions at various inclined positions and inclination positions.
