PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pot for a cultivating solution for a solid medium, which can stably cultivate small-size plants of different types to be used for providing potted plants and which can be washed to keep clean feeling capable of putting on a dining table like cut flowers in a relayed manner in a stable rhizospherical atmosphere, and can be incorporated in a completely automatic system to reduce cost for production industry on a commercial scale where the pot has a structure enabling to cultivate the plants whose cultivation has been impossible in small pots (around 400 ml volume) when using the unventional bottom surface capillary feed liquid under burping sun, winter season and in hibernation and also to provide a method for cultivation. SOLUTION: This pot comprises a cylinder 1 with two or more holes and two or more notches in the lower end, structured in such a way that the bottom is raised to an adequate position, and cloth-shaped capillary members 3 and 4 are divided within the cylinder 1 and placed one on another in the vertical direction, to cover the upper face of a medium. The method cultivates small-size plants with a solution supplied to the pot bottom by the capillary phenomenon using the above pot of a complex shape and a solution-stopping container.
