PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic diagnostic device, a lesioned part size detection method, a program, and a recording medium capable of easily detecting the size of a lesioned part using an endoscope.SOLUTION: Light of a regular repeating pattern is applied to a subject to capture an endoscopic image. From the endoscopic image, a region where a repeating pattern is different from the repeating pattern of the applied light is detected.
