PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve permanent biometrics without any risk such as forgery.SOLUTION: The biological information detection device is configured to emit light at a shallow angle toward a vein area to be detected obliquely to a skin surface, irradiate the light obliquely scattering and passing through skin tissues and dermal tissues, take in a return light including a vein pattern generated when the vein of the vein area to be detected absorbs a backward scattered light, which is generated from the light passing through the dermal tissues at the back of the vein area to be detected as a background, and collate the vein pattern of the return light taken in with a stored vein pattern.
