PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data which not only can indicate that an absorber gets wet but also analyze the performance of the absorber and acquire patient diagnostic information during absorbing liquid excrement.SOLUTION: An absorber 1 absorbs liquid excrement (for example, urination, menstruation, or liquid of feces) when a user wears it at a crotch area of a body. The absorber includes a plurality of detection zones 4 for detecting the liquid excrement. Each of the detection zones is formed by a first conductive path and a second conductive path which are electrically insulated, and is arranged and configured so that liquid excrement between the first conductive path and the second conductive path causes an electric current to flow between the first conductive path and the second conductive path. The existence of the liquid excrement in each zone can be detected by detecting the electric current.
