The present invention relates to a medical abdominal band for correcting or protecting the lumbar by compressing the back while being wrapped on the waist. The medical abdominal band comprises: a band unit including a pair of compressing bands worn to compress the spine by being wrapped on the waist, and an adjusting means formed in one end of the compressing band to have an adjusted length suitable to the size of a wearer a connection unit including a pair of connection band inwardly and outwardly opened to accommodate one end of each of the compressing bands, and a hardened connection plate formed on the outer surface of each of the connection bands to support the spine an adjusting unit including multiple rings longitudinally arranged in a line on the outer surface of the connection plate, a tying string formed by connecting facing rings with each other in a zigzag shape on the connection plate, and a pair of tying plates respectively connected with the tying string to adjust pressure and a correcting unit including a pressing band formed on the connection unit to be selectively attached and detached so as to correct the spine.
