PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an ultrafine imaging unit-compliant video scope capable of mutually connecting an ultrafine imaging unit and a video unit optically, electrically and mechanically.SOLUTION: A connector 5 includes a first connection mechanism 46 and a second connection mechanism 47 that can be mutually connected. The first connection mechanism is provided with a hollow holder 48, and the second connection mechanism is provided with a light source 35. The hollow holder holds a light guide extending from an ultrafine imaging unit. The light guide is provided with a light incident surface, and the light source is provided with a light emission surface 35s.
