PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher including a threshing cylinder freely rotatably disposed in a threshing chamber, and a threshing port from which the heads of mown grain culms are inserted into the threshing chamber to transfer the mown grain culms in the direction of the rotation axis of the threshing cylinder, which thresher not only can effectively prevent the grain from piercing the grain culms but also is made to have the function of preventing straw scraps from clogging a means of preventing grains from piercing grain culms, as well as excellent durability.SOLUTION: A means 30 of preventing grains from piercing grain culms that catches threshed products scattered in a threshing chamber 2 at a position above mown grain culms C inserted into the threshing chamber 2 and causes them to flow in the direction of a threshing cylinder 10 is disposed in a freely elastically deformable manner in the threshing chamber 2 inside a threshing port 14. The means 30 of preventing grain from piercing grain culms includes a plurality of notches 32 opening in the direction of the threshing cylinder 10 so that a plurality of threshing teeth 10b of the threshing cylinder 10 can pass therethrough.
