PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical imaging diagnostic apparatus which extracts the area of a noticing section from a medical image simply.SOLUTION: A medical image obtaining part 2 obtains initial volume data by photographing a patient before a contrast medium is injected to the patient, and obtains a plurality of pieces of volume data photographed at different times by photographing a plurality of times after injection. A medical image processing part 3 generates first subtracted volume data by subtracting the initial volume data from volume data obtained at the point of time when a previously set time passes out of the plurality of pieces of volume data, and extracts the data of a section specified by the first subtracted volume data from the volume data obtained at an optional point of time.
