PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant housing body by which a plant can easily be planted in a short period of time in the transport, the storage, the display and so forth for industrial purposes, properly feeds moisture and nutritive substances to the plant, and stabilizes the posture of the plant since the plant does not easily roll over.SOLUTION: This plant housing body 100 includes: a container 10 having a top surface opening a gel-like filling article 20 which is filled in the container 10, and contains water and nutritive substances and a supporting body 30 on which a supporting hole 33 for supporting the stem of the plant is provided. The supporting body 30 is equipped with a horizontal plate 31 and a stabilizing body 32 which is extended downward. The horizontal plate 31 is positioned on the surface of the gel-like filling article, and the stabilizing body 32 is arranged in a manner to be buried in the gel-like filling article 20. The stabilizing body 32 is equipped with a shape by which the resistance to the surrounding gel-like filling article 20 becomes larger to the movement in the vertical direction, and a shape by which the resistance to the surrounding gel-like filling article 20 becomes larger to the movement in the horizontal direction.
