A refill for an electric toothbrush comprises a generally tubular structure formed by a refill wall defining an interior space for internally receiving a coupling stem of a toothbrush handle. The refill includes a motion transmitter operably coupled to the brush head for driving the brush head. The refill has a coupling device that includes a pair of opposite elastically deformable cantilever arms disposed in the interior space of the refill and adjacent to the refill wall.
