PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a litter composition for an animal cage prepared of vegetable fibers and suited for cats.SOLUTION: A binder and a filler are prepared by adding a known binder in a quantity of 0 to 50% of the total mass of the hulls of compressed sunflower and/or a known filler in a quantity of 0 to 80%, on the basis of 1 to 100%, preferably 100% of a plant in the form of compressed and/or crushed sunflower hulls.【課題】植物繊維から作製された猫に適した動物ケージのリータ組織物の提供。【解決手段】圧縮したヒマワリ（ｓｕｎｆｌｏｗｅｒ）の殻の総質量の、０～５０％の量の既知の結合剤、および／または０～８０％の量の既知の充填材を添加した、１～１００％、好ましくは１００％の量の圧縮および／または粉砕したヒマワリの殻の形である植物に基づく結合剤および充填剤である。【選択図】なし
