An edible topping composition which is pourable at refrigeration and roomtemperatures.The edible topping composition includes a coconut component (i.e., coconutoil, coconut cream,and/or coconut milk), fat, stabilizer, sweetener, and water. One or moreoptional ingredients canalso be used (e.g., milk protein or soy protein, emulsifiers, thickeners,salt, phosphate salt,flavoring, coloring, preservatives, etc.). The edible topping composition iswhippable and, in awhipped form, has a smooth, non-greasy texture and is free of waxy mouth feel.
