PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for increasing the fertility rate of artificial insemination and an efficient method of artificial insemination.SOLUTION: A medium for artificial insemination containing an aqueous solution of licorice extract and a method of artificial insemination comprising fertilizing an ovum with a sperm using the medium are disclosed.
