PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termiteproof method for an architectural structure, a method that has an extremely high ratio for exterminating termites and that also takes bodily safety into consideration.SOLUTION: In the method of the present invention, a plurality of first bait logs containing a bait agent are installed with first spaces apart on the soil surface situated under the floor of or around an architectural structure (first installation step S1). For the purpose of preventing formation of termite passages with the first spaces apart in which the first bait logs recede from each other, a repellant is applied to the base, floor post footing, floor post, foundation, sleeper, columns, earthen floor concrete, floor concrete, floor joist, and at least one of the structural members including outer wall members of the architectural structure (application step S2). The repellant is sulfur powder. Desirably, at least one member itself of the structural members is drilled with second spaces apart to form a plurality of opening holes (drilling step S3).
